Alrouf’s LED emergency downlight range provides battery-backed emergency illumination with model-specific outputs from 150 to 300 lumens. The range includes automatic testing, lithium or LiFePO4 batteries, and different operating modes and mounting configurations.
Most listed models have a rated emergency duration of 180 minutes. The BY-T1006E1 provides 300 lumens for a rated 150 minutes. Compare the exact model specifications before selection.
LED emergency downlights provide emergency illumination from ceiling positions when the relevant normal lighting supply fails. They can be considered for corridors, circulation areas, offices and other building spaces where their performance meets the approved lighting design.
The range includes compact luminaires with separate battery/control assemblies and models with different housing arrangements. Mounting requirements, battery chemistry, protection ratings and emergency output vary across the range.
Select equipment using emergency-mode photometric data, the proposed mounting position and the installation environment.
During normal supply conditions, the charging system maintains the battery. In non-maintained operation, the emergency light source remains off until emergency operation is required.
When the relevant supply fails, the battery powers the emergency light source. Models supporting maintained operation can also illuminate during normal conditions according to their wiring and control arrangement.
Automatic testing supports equipment checks, but maintenance staff must still review fault indications, investigate problems and keep the required records.
